The Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen with soft brush nib in black 199 - the one most illustrators reach for first. The flexible brush tip goes from a hairline to a broad sweep depending on pressure, and the pigmented India ink is waterproof and permanent once dry, so watercolour washes will not lift it.
