It’s Time for Bed is an interactive book that allows children to experience the bedtime rituals and habits of Adam and Mishmish. This reinforces the importance of these habits for children and helps them become a part of their daily lives.

At the end of the book, there is a felt flap where children can cover Adam & Mishmish and tuck them in before wishing them a goodnight. This allows them to develop their sensory and motor skills and solidify their bedtime routine.

This book is part of the I Am Adam series by Adam wa Mishmish. Additionally, it is connected to a YouTube song and its very own augmented reality App, both of which can be accessed by scanning the codes on the back cover of the book.

At this age, children begin to take on some responsibility for their pre-bedtime routines, such as drinking milk and brushing their teeth. They also take a bath and listen to a bedtime story. This book uses interactive pictures to illustrate these bedtime routines, starting from finishing dinner to getting into bed. This step-by-step approach helps children internalize and remember these routines. Finally, the book concludes with an interactive page where children can cover or uncover Adam and Mishmish.

About the Author

Adam Wa Mishmish is a project that helps young children learn Arabic through music, illustration, animation, and play. The project started as a YouTube channel, where the founders would also perform in musical concerts and plays live for kids. Today, however, the project has grown to include a curriculum designed by early childhood experts to build a strong foundation for Arabic in children. The fun curriculum includes storybooks, games, songs, animations, and activities

About the Illustrator

Lutfi Zayed is an illustrator and comic artist based in Amman, Jordan.
Zayed has showcased his work in several festivals and exhibitions, and published his first comic book, titled “485 Frames” in 2019.
