Measure the space, not only the diagonal

A screen size in inches describes its diagonal, not the width of the television or its stand. Measure your furniture, available wall space and the route through the home. Check the exact model's dimensions with and without the stand, and confirm where the feet sit. If mounting the screen, ask a qualified installer about the wall and suitable mounting equipment before placing the order.

Match features to what you watch

List your streaming services, game console and other devices. Confirm that the apps you need are supported in your region and inspect the number and type of ports on the exact model. Compare picture quality under room lighting similar to yours if you can. Resolution alone does not describe brightness, reflections or motion handling, and model names can differ across markets.

Confirm delivery and installation details

Before payment, ask whether delivery includes carrying the television to your room and whether installation is a separate service. Confirm the included remote, stand and accessories, then review the warranty and the process for reporting delivery damage. Compare the checkout amount rather than a crossed-out price alone. Keep packaging until you have checked the seller's return instructions.
