How to Take a Forehead Temperature (Non-Contact Mode)

Keep the magnetic sensor cover snapped in place. Position the thermometer probe over the center of your baby’s forehead, roughly 0.5 to 1 inch away from the skin surface. Press and release the primary Measure button. Hold the device steady until you hear a single confirmation click; the color-coded temperature reading will instantly illuminate on the glass display.

How to Take an Ear Temperature (Core Mode)

Gently pull off the magnetic top cover. The screen icon will automatically switch to ear mode. For infants under 1 year old, gently pull the outer ear straight back to straighten the canal, then insert the probe tip carefully into the ear canal opening and click Measure. For children over 1 year old and adults, pull the ear up and back before inserting.

Changing Units (F / C) & Muting

Open the battery compartment door on the back. You will find a dedicated toggle button designed to switch between Fahrenheit (F) and Celsius (C). To turn off the audio beeps for quiet nighttime checks, simply press and hold the Memory/Mute button on the side panel for 2 to 3 seconds until the mute icon appears on the display.
