Level 1

This is a distinguished series for teaching Arabic to adult learners who are non-native speakers. The series includes four main books, preceded by a phonetic-level book that serves as the beginning of the “Al-‘Ayn” series. It starts with teaching the letters and their phonetic variations, then progresses to words, and finally to simple sentences. It is designed for learners aged 18 and above. Each of the four main books (excluding the phonetic-level book) contains twelve study units, focusing on the four essential language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In addition, the units cover grammar, morphology, and spelling skills. Each book includes a wide range of exercises for classroom and home practice, both mechanical and interactive, as well as pre-lesson and post-lesson activities. The series is accompanied by a comprehensive teacher’s guide covering all the books, guiding both teachers and learners. The guide explains the methodology behind the series, how to use technology in teaching Arabic, and how to approach each exercise in the books. The series also includes professionally recorded audio materials, covering all listening skills for the phonetic-level book and the four main books that follow. The books were authored by a team of university professors and experts with extensive experience in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers and developing specialized instructional materials.
