Never before has a crib mattress material been developed that takes into account all the needs a baby might have while sleeping. The patented core dissipates excess heat without overheating, wicks away the CO2 the baby exhales, and is completely free of toxins. In addition to being 100% washable, it has the perfect level of firmness to avoid numbness while remaining supportive, and it’s so breathable that even a newborn can breathe through the material without getting tired. In short, a unique material created specifically to care for babies’ sleep.

The main challenges we faced when creating the Babykeeper crib mattress were proper heat dissipation and breathability. To solve both problems, we needed to achieve the most open structure possible, allowing air to flow freely through the mattress without any restrictions.

To design it, we drew inspiration from bionics, and more specifically, from the open hexagonal cell structure so familiar to us in nature: the honeycomb, considered a masterpiece of architecture and engineering. This design allows us to create a lightweight and resistant material that is 100% permeable to air and liquids.

With Erma®, we ensure that the baby can breathe even through the core material, without causing the slightest fatigue for him.

The new Babykeeper cover redefines the meaning of comfort and breathability. When developing the new Babykeeper Pro, we wanted to take comfort to the highest level of softness without compromising the breathability we had already achieved in the ERMA® core.

All the air permeability and breathability properties of the Erma® core of the Babykeeper crib mattress are compromised if a cover or sheet is used that is not at least as breathable as the core. Therefore, we designed a cover that matches the quality of Erma®, matching its air and liquid permeability properties and completely free of toxins.

The Babykeeper 3D cover is made from a completely harmless fabric, is even more air permeable than the Erma® core and is treated with Sanitized to combat bacteria and mold.

Thanks to this innovative Babykeeper design, the baby will breathe effortlessly even if sleeping face down, thus reducing the related risks of suffocation.
